TITLED DIVORCEES

SUITS NOT DEFENDED COUNTESS OF JERSEY'S CLAIM LONDON, Oct. 5 Among 1590 divorce suits listed for the term beginning on Monday is the Countess of Jersey's claim, which the earl is not defending. Another undefended suit is that of Lady Montagu against Lord Edward Montagu, son of the Duke of Manchester. The Earl of Jersey, who succeeded to the title in 1923, is 26 years of age. He married Miss Patricia Kenneth Richards, of Cootamundra, New South Wales, in 1932. There are no children. The Countess has for several years been unable to take part in any social activities, on account of a serious illness, from which she was reported, some time ago, to be recovering. Lord Edward Montagu married Miss Norah Potter in 1929. He is 30 years of age.
