TWO NEW LINERS
TRANSPACIFIC SERVICE A SYDNEY SYNDICATE (Received October 6, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 6 A Sydney accountant and company director, Mr. Brendan Dowling, who arrived in Sydney by the Mariposa, said a syndicate had been formed here to establish a faster transport service between North America, New Zealand and Sydney. Two liners would be placed in the transpacific service as soon as practicable.
