ST. CUTHBERT'S OLD GIRLS
SUCCESSFUL CARD EVENING A most successful progressive trump and whist evening was held by the St. Cuthbert's College Old Girls' Association on Monday in the rooms of the association. The arrangements were carried out bv Misses Gwen Hooper (president), Gwen Gardner and Helen Bews. Other members of the committee present wore:—Mrs. H. W. Couldrey, Misses Ruth Owen, Nancy Anderson, Tory Johnson, Margaret Shaw, Joyeo Neumegen, Bebo Cooke and Peggy Hume. Also present were: —Mesclames J. M. Stevenson, M. J. McKenzie, A. E. Moor, L. L. Kronfeld, M. W. Yates, Misses Althea Morley, Nancy Thomson, Margery Bryan, Winnie Tippits, Rita Hill, Ruth Todd, Kathleen Thomson, Joyce Myles, P. Mnckesy, Peggy Message, Ngarei Bloinfield, Sybil Blomfield, Dorothy Hart, Joan Houghton, Edna Cox, Vivienne Paque, Phil Service, P. Dallen, Mavis Young, Dulcie Grove, Katie Melville, Melba Baskett, Gwen Ross, Shona Paterson, Roma Melvern, Joan Bayliss, Nesta Staples, Betty Will, Dulcie Arnoldson, Mavis Wallace and Eileen Laurie. The prize-winners were Ruth Todd, Peggy Message and Eileen Laurie. At the conclusion supper was served.
