DAIRY PRODUCE LEVY
REDUCTION ADVOCATED ALTERED STATUS OF BOARD [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] MASTERTON, Monday The opinion was expressed at a conference of dairy producers at Carterton to-day that, in view of the altered status of fthe Dairy Produce Board, the levy on butter and cheese should be reduced. It was stated that the powers of the board had been reduced to a minimum with the Marketing Department taking over the marketing of al) butter and cheese.
