JUNIOR RUGBY CLUB
DANCE AT DEVONPORT Multi-coloured streamers and balloons decorated the Masonic Hall at Devonport 011 Saturday night, when a danco was held by the social committee of the North Shore Junior Rugby Club. The colours of the club, green and white, were introduced in the decorations of the supper tables, which were adorned with green streamers on the white cloth, and vases of arum lilies. The ladies' social committee comprised:—Mrs. P. J. Sheehan, who wore a frock of cherry souple satin; Mrs. P. Syers, brown floral crepon; Mrs. E. M. McJnues, red and white tartan taffetas; Miss Irene Marechal, white cloque; Miss Kathleen Sheehau, black novelty crepe. Among those present were:—-Mrs. J. Chapman, Mrs. J. Seagar, Miss Jess Drummond, Miss Dolly McComb, Miss Eileen O'Hara, Miss Jean Drummond, Miss Thelma Johnson, Miss Isabel Agate. Miss Shirley Gilbert, Miss Marjorie Byrch, Miss Denise Nugent, Miss Molly Boyd, Miss Diana Nugent, Miss Ngaire Baker, Miss Dot Bray, Miss D. Aughton, Miss Pat Reed, Miss It. Aughton, Miss Kath Tonner, Miss Molly James, Miss Cherry Switzer, Miss Marmaret Lock, Miss Hazel Switzer, Miss Joyce Burchall, Miss Phyllis Korn, Miss Joyce Chapman, Miss Peggy Heminingway (London), Miss Greta Munroe, Miss Francis Simmers, Miss Dot Hines, Miss E. Wilson (Rotorua), Miss Peggy Patterson.
