CLUB PRESENTATION
The rooms of the Women's Club were attractively decorated last week when a large number of members and friends of Mrs. H. H. Martindale met to farewell her, prior to her departure for Wellington, which will be her future home. During the afternoon the president, Mrs. D. M. Ford, presented the guest of honour with a handsome pair of brass book-ends as a token of appreciation for her services to the club over a period of years. A novelty competition was won by Mrs. A. V. Merriman.
