POWER BOARD DANCE
WAITEMATA SOCIAL CLUB Arranged with bowls of Iceland poppies and a multitude of coloured balloons, the Catholic Women's League rooms were made even more attractive when the Waitemata Electric-Power Board Social Club held its annual dance. The restful setting of the large and comfortable lounge was particularly pleasing against the packed dance floor and coloured lighting effects. On arrival the guests were received by a committee comprising Miss K. Collins, Miss I. Hamilton and Miss E. Mills. Among those present were: —Mesdames C. M. Gray, A. Kemp, L. Fyfe, J. Rickard, S. C. Smith, E. Edmonds, A. Moller, Alton, Hewitt, E. A. Payne, Roycroft, Naylor, St. Clair, J. Johnston, Eason. J. Edwards, J. Tubberty, Misses M. Brown, J. Marks, G. Lovie, P. Thomas, J. Adams, J. Kemp, Y. Sheffield, P. Nicholls, J. Ward, H. Wells, P. Ganly, E. Gabriel, L. Boyd, J. Blackey, V. Edmond, L. Roberts, Wordsworth. •
