Mrs. Noel Gibson, of Epsom, is an Auckland visitor to Rotorua. Mrs. Lawrence Ludbrook, of Dilworth Avenue, is visiting Rotorua. Mrs. David Peacock, of Wellington, is spending a holiday at Rotorua. Mrs. E. D. Mosley left Wellington on Friday on a health visit to Queensland. Mrs. S. H. Lee, of Helena Bay, is visiting her mother, Mrs. F. Cave, of Opotiki. At the Royal Hotel are Mrs. C. N. O'Neill (Paeroa), Mrs. Z. Saundor (Hamilton). Mrs. M. R. Ashton, of Te Kawa, who has been visiting Auckland, has returned home. Mrs. J. Falconer Brown, Arney Road, Remuera, has returned from a month's holiday at Rotorua. Mrs. M. Crawford, of Remuera, left by the Monterey on Friday on a two months' visit to Sydney. Miss Rona Lewis, of Alfred Street, who has been visiting Christchurch and Timaru, will return to-day. Mrs. A. B. Lawrence, Pine Street. Remuera, returned to Auckland on Saturday after having visited Rotorua. Mrs. Eisdell Moore, of Symonds Street, who has been spending a holiday at Rotorua, returned to Auckland on Saturday. Mrs. Hugh Syme, of Golden Bay, has returned after having spent several weeks with her sister, Mrs. L. Bagnall, of Remuera. Mrs. O. M. Coverdale and her small son, of Te Kawa, who had been spending the school holidays at Takapuna, have returned. Miss Darrie Heather, Norana Avenue, Remuera, left by the Monterey on Friday for Sydney, where she will spend about two months. Mrs. H. S. Elliott, who has been staying at the Central Hotel, will leave to-ni<jht for Wellington to reside with her sister, Mrs. Drewette. At Hotel Cargen are Miss C. Steedman (Thames), Mrs. Robert Browning, Miss L. Watson (Wellington), Miss Catherine Hayes (Christchurch).
Miss Ruth Scott, who has been staying with her mother, Mrs. D. Scott. Braemar Terrace, Mount Albert, left on Friday by the Monterey for Sydney.
Miss D. Blackmore, headmistress of St. Hilda's College, Dunedin, who has been the guest of Mrs. R. J. Coates, Ranfurly Road, Epsom, will return to-day.
Mrs. John Henderson Will, of Dominion Road, is staying at her cottage at Lake Rotoiti. Miss V. Lennard, of St. Stephen's Avenue, is her guest.
At the Station Hotel are Mrs. J. Gough (London), Mrs. L. Harris, Miss D. Runciinan (Gisborne), Mrs. A. K. Gray (Wellington), Miss B. Milligan (Oamaru), Mrs. C. R. Home, Miss I. Horne (Invercargill). At Hotel Titirangi are Mrs. G. Mills (Birkenhead), Mrs. C. J. Ellerbeck (Epsom), Mrs. E. 0. Lyell (Milford), Miss M. Bethell (Whangarei), Miss Herbert (Auckland) and Miss Nissen and Mrs. Cawthorn (England). Mrs. Elsie B. Hemingway and her daughter Dorothy passed through Auckland on Friday on the Monterey, on their way back to their home, Glifton Gardens,' Sydney. They have been touring Great Britain and the Continent for the past 18 months. Mrs. C. K. Wilson, of Piopio, King Country, was in Wellington last week attending the conference called by the Prime Minister in regard to matters affecting the Maori race. Mrs. Wilson is the Dominion president of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union. Mrs. G. Webb, wife of Captain V. G. Webb, marine superintendent of' the Union Steam Ship Company, who has been on - a visit to England and the United States, returned to Wellington at the end of last week by the new transtasman passenger liner Awatea.
