EASY WIN FOR TITIRANGI AKARANA BEATS NORTH SHORE Tho fifth round of the Auckland pennant golf competition was played during the week-end, when courses wore in fair order as a result of Saturday's drying wind. Two A grade matches were decided, Titirangi defeating Maungakiekie and Akarana accounting for North Shore. In the B grade games, Maungakiekie and Pnpuke defeated Otahuhu and Ilemuera respectively, while two matches, between Titirangi and North Shore and Glendowie and Akarana, were postponed.
