[BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] " WELLINGTON, Saturday; The Commissioner of Police, Mr. D. J. Cuminings, advised to-<lay that Inspector G. 13. Edwards was being transferred to Gisborne to replace Inspector H. Martin, who has been transferred to Cliristchurch to fill a vacancy caused by tho promotion and transfer of Inspector S. Rawlo to Dunedin. Sub-Inspector J. Sweeney, who has been in charge of the detective branch at Auckland, and recently was promoted to inspector* will replace Inspector Edwards at w wHi^ton..
