EMPIRE TRADE
WELLINGTON CONFERENCE SUGGESTIONS FROM CANADA MONTREAL, Sept. '2 A memorandum outlining the principles which it considers should be followed for the consolidation of Empire trade, was adopted by the executive of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce for submission to the Chambers of Commerce Conference to be held at Wellington, New Zealand. Among the suggestions are: The simplification and greater uniformity of Customs regulations; a more general extension in Empire trade agreements of those concessions which have proved valuable in the development of British transportation facilities; and the coordination of Empire trade statistics.
