DANCE AT OTAIKA
WELL-ATTENDED FUNCTION Old-time dances, intermingled with modern dances, were a feature of the Otaika Bachelors' Ball, held at Otaika on Thursday evening. Approximately 200 dancers from all parts of the district were entertained by the bachelors, who served the supper. The hall was appropriately decorated with greenery and spring flowers. The committee responsible for the success of the function comprised: Messrs. A. Tavinor (chairman), R. McQueen (secretary), F. Pool man, J. Kerr, H. Murray, F. McLean, J. Edge, R. Smart, H. Cuff, J. Lord and A. Howarth. Included among the ladies present were:—Mrs. S. G. Murray, Mrs. R. Wilkinson, Mrs. A. B. Burton, Mrs. C. Cuff, 57rs. A. J. Ma gee, Mrs. J. E. Lord, Mrs. G. Long, Mrs. G.
