WAIKATO HUNT CLUB
FINAL MEET OF SEASON Unfavourable weather marred the Waikato Hunt Club's final meet of the season, held on Saturday, at " Ngaheki," Cambridge, the residence of the master, Mr. Wynn Brown. A large field was entertained to morning tea, and in spite of unfavourable weather a good day's sport followed. Members and friends were again the guests of the master at afternoon tea, which was served on the wide covered verandahs. The Rev. C. Chandler proposed the toast of the master, coupled with that of his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. N Brown. In conclusion, he conveyed the thanks of those present for the warm hospitality shown to them at all times. In reply, Mr. Bro\fn paid a tribute to the farmers for their splendid co-operation throughout the season in allowing their farms to bo hunted over The hostesses were Mrs. L. L.
