WAITEMATA GOLF CLUB

PRESENTATION TO MEMBER In honour of Miss Betty Atkinson, who is shortly to be married, an afternoon was given on the links by the lady members of the Waitemata Golf Club on Saturday. Afternoon tea was served in the clubhouse, where the tables were arranged with vases of daffodils, Iceland poppies and asparagus fern. Prior to afternoon tea, the club captain, Mrs. Carl Prime, presented the guest of honour with a set of initialled teaspoons. A putting competition was Avon by Miss Eileen Hogan.
