SEMI-FINALS PLAYED CAMMICK IN GOOD FORM WARD DEFEATS WISEMAN The semi-finals of tlie handicap match plav competition of the Ak a ran a Golf Club for the Coltmnn Cup were decided on Saturday. C. E. Cammick played golf of a high standard in his match with A. Howcy Walker, and won 3 up and 2 to play. The other match provided a surprise result when J. S. Wiseman went down to K. C. EXHIBITION AT TIMARU [UY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] TIMARU, Sunday In an exhibition golf match, E. G. Kerr, jun., and J. L. Mackay, of Timaru, defeated Gene Sarazen and Miss Hicks, of America, 5 and 4. After a birdie three at the first hole Mackay played fine golf going out, registering five birdies in the first seven holes. Ho then lost touch and his partner became prominent. The visitors' long game was very impressive, hut they could not get tho touch of tho greens. Their mediocre form was due largely to the great amount of travelling they have had sinco arriving.
