HOLLAND MEMORIAL
SCULPTURAL WORK INSPECTION BY MINISTER When in Auckland yesterday the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, paid a visit to the studio of Mr. 1L 0. Gross, the Auckland sculptor trho is engaged on the sculptural work for the memorial to the late Mr. H. k Holland, the former leader of the Parliamentary Labour Party. "It is' a very inspiring conception on which Mr. Gross is working," commented Mr. Nash. "The sculpture depicts the climb of human life througn the ages, and man's relation to industry. It is now well in hand and is * very striking addition to the memorial.
