"SIAMESE" TWINS
STILLBORN CHILDREN UNIQUE HAMILTON EVENT [from our own corrkspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday Twin ii;ir!s who resembled the famous Siamese twins were stillborn in the Campbell Johnstone maternity ward of the Waikato Hospital on .July 2!>. They were joined chest to chest. Although their heads were normal, they differed from the original Siamese twins in that tin* pair had only one set of organs. The mother, who is 22 years old, has only recently arrived in Hamilton. She has been married for three years and the couple have one son, a healthy bov aged 18 months.
