EDEN AND EPSOM TENNIS
JUNIOR CLUB DANCE HELD Organised by the junior committee of the Eden and Epsom Lawn Tennis Club, a very successful dance was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Broun, Raliiri Poad. Mount Eden, on Saturday night. The hostess, Mrs. J. S. Broun, received her guests wearing a frock of wine marocain, relieved with beige. The committee comprised: Miss P. Cooke. Messrs. A. Davidson, 1, Broun and J?. H< muiis. Among those present were: Mrs. Bruce Sutherland, who wore black lace; Mrs. P. Noble, pink lace; Mrs. W. Pocock, turquoise blue taffetas; Miss Etia Stewart, orange cloque; Miss Bebo Cooke, pink and gold taffetas; Miss P. Cooke, blue moire taffetas; Miss Nancy Grove, rosebud pink suede; Miss P. Pearson, gold and flame silk; Miss Dot Hemus, midnight blue taffetas; Miss Jean Greig, blue crepe; Miss Nancy Herson, green georgette; Miss Beth Lamb, apricot cloque; Miss Laurie .Burton, navy and white spotted silk; Miss Joan Feasor, ceil blue velvet; Miss Marjorie Foley, navy and white crepe; Miss Beth Hosking, black and silver lame; Miss Mavis Hale, Marina taffetas; Miss Wyn MeManemin, pink crepe; Miss Lois Pendell, navy taffetas; Miss Pat Rogerson, navy and white crepe; Miss Margaret Morrow, blue striped net; Miss Shirley Hicks, blue taffetas; Miss Betty Wigg, Marina green taffetas) Miss Pae Bartleet, white net trimmed with silver; Miss Fav Bartleet, apricot taffetas; Miss Pat McNab, mauve georgette; Miss Margaret Whittome, white novelty crepe; Miss Wyn Johnston, black taffetas; Miss Nancy Gower, tango georgette; Miss Merle Chatficld, lido blue taffetas; Miss Margaret McCullough, pink organdie; Miss Pay Gillespie, brown shot taffetas; Miss Koeford, cheeked taffetas; Miss Joan Beaver, red souplo satin.
