PARISHIONERS' MEETING
OPOTIKI ANGLICAN CHURCH [BY TELECRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] OPOTIKI, Saturday There was a moderate attendance at the annual meeting of St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Oprttiki. The Rev. C. G. G. Salt presided. The balance-sheet showed a small debit balance. The election of officers resulted: — People's warden, Mr. E. C. East; vestry, Messrs. E. Anstis, E. J. Baigent, C. L. Burton, H. Carey, R. A. Hedley, R. D. Looney, L. E. Manning, J. H. Morel I, G. Ormandy, W. Sinton; auditor, Mr. T. H. Pearson. Tho appointment of a vicar's warden or a synodsman was deferred. The vicar's annual report showed that with tho exception of the Sunday school every branch of the parish's activities had shown progress.
