UNIVERSITY AWARDS
NEW ZEALANDER'S SUCCESS RESEARCH WORK RECOGNISED Mr. Kenneth Maelaurin Rudall, who left New Zealand two years ago to take up research work at Leeds University, has been awarded the degree of doctor of philosophy and also the Aclcroyd Memorial Fellowship at I/eeds University. Dr. Rudall graduated from Auckland University College in 1931 and took up research work, at Massey College on a Sir James Gunson research scholtr-ship and .a national research scholarship from the Department of Industrial and Scientific Research. His work is attracting the attention of scientists in America and Europe. He is a iuphew of the late Professor R. C. Macli.urin, who became president of the Boston Technical Institute.
