OVERLOADED LORRIES
TWO OPERATORS FINED [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT] OPOTIKI, Tuesday Charges of operating lorries with excessive loads were heard in the Opotiki Magistrate's Court against N. H. Parkinson and A. E. Peece.
Mr. G. Leggett, traffic inspector, said tho vehicles had been weighed and found to be carrying loads heavier than their licences allowed. Both defendants were fined £2.
