HALE AT 95 YEARS
MR. T. TOOK, OF HAMILTON LONG LINE OF DESCENDANTS [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON. Saturday The 95th birthday of Mr. Thomas Took, of Claude Street, Claudolnml.s. occurred yesterday. Mr. Took was born in England and came to New Zealand 60 years ago, having been sent out to fill the position of stockman and shepherd on Sir James Fergusson's property near Cambridge. Mr. Took worked on various farms in the Waikato and Thames for many years, fie is a great-great-grandfather and has 130 descendants. The ages of liis five children total 327 years. Mr. Took enjoys excellent health and went for a walk yesterday.
