MISSING LETTERS
EVEREST CLIMBERS POLICE DISCOVER FORTY (Received July.l2, 6.35 p.m.) CALCUTTA, July 11 The police have recovered 40 of the letters of the members of the Mount Everest party at the Gangtok Post Office. Also they have discovered a shortage of £7O in the office's cash. The postmaster has been arrested.
