A GOLFING ROMANCE
In " Love on the Fairway " Stanley Anderson, a prominent amateur golfer, and Archie Compston, the famous professional have combined their skill in writing a very exciting and nmusing book. The story, which is well told, concerns the gulling exploits of an amateur, (Jerry \\ ilson. The young man is a. novelist who barely lives in comfort on what ho earns by his hazardous profession. He backs himself with a London bookmaker to win the British Open Championship at the long odds of o()0 to 1. Gcirv is deeply in love with Anne Feilding, lady golf champion of the world. Anne caddies, for him in the championship, and her valuable advice achieves fame for Gerry, The story ends with the young couple joined together in pursuit of golf and happiness.
