CARD AFTERNOON

A pleasant card afternoon was spent on Thursday by the Ponsonby Croquet Club in the bowling pavilion. The prize for the highest score for bridge was won by Mrs. Manson, tho hidden number by Mrs. Edgar and the consolation prize bv Mrs. Lonergan. Those present were:—Mesdames Aitchison, Sneddon, Foster, Bell, Hilton, Torrance, Adams, Gray, Pluinmer, Cook, Rowbottom, Edgar, Graham, McDonald, Colthurst, Copland, Hopwood, Wilson, B. A. White, Johnston, Donohue, Lonergan, Murray, E. M. White, Price, Crighton, G. Foster, Warnock and Miss Aitchison.
