N. Morris, S.M., at the Dargavillo Magistrate's Court to-dav. The inspector of factories, Mr. R. K. Price, who brought the charge, said dclendant was a photographer engaged in business in the city and had extended his activities into country disI ricts. lie had carried on in Daryavide on the statutory half-holiday ( when there was another photographer i in the town. The inspector said he did ( not desire a heavy penalty, but it was r j a question of stopping outside business , men from carrying on business when s other shops had to bo closed. - «]
