CAPSIZE OF MOTOR-CAR
INJURIES TO PASSENGER . RETURNING FROM DANCE [by telegraph —OWN* correspondent] OPOTIKI, Tuesday One man was injured, arid two others escaped with a shaking, when a motorcar in which they were returning early this morning from a dance held at Waimana, left the road and capsized. A single man, Mr. V. Mulhern, of Woodlands, Opotiki, was admitted to the Opotiki Public Hospital suffering from a cut over one eye and a broken collarbone. The motor-car was driven by Mr. W. Doherty, of Whakatane, and when near Waiotahi it skidded and somersaulted over the side of the road. Mr. V. Mulhern was with his brother in the back seat, and both men were thrown into the front of the car. The driver was unhurt, and Mr. John Mulhern received bruises. The motorcar was only slightly damaged.
