TIMBERWORKERS' UNION
OFFICERS ELECTED The Auckland Industrial Timberworkers' Union has elected the following officers for the coming year:— President, Mr. T. Long; vice-president, Mr. H. Watson; treasurer, Mr F. Davies; executive committee, Messrs. H. Constance, J. Grant, G. Findlay, H. Low and J. Turner. The interim secretary will be Mr. F. Craig. Mr. E. J. Phelan, who until his appointment as the Auckland district licensing authority, was secretary to the Timberworkers' Union, was made a life member. Tributes were paid! to his work on behalf of the movement.
