AMENDMENTS SUPPORTED [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT] TUAKAU, Tuesday The provisions of the Motor Vehicles Amendment Bill, which have beon circulated among local bodies by the Minister of Transport, the Hon. 11. Sernple, for their comment, were given general approval at a meeting of the Tiiakan Town Board last night. Most sections were endorsed as fully warranted, and exception was taken to none of them. Mr. A. Boyle expressed the view that a clause increasing the maximum penalty for being intoxicated in charge of a motor vehicle should be added.
