MATCH PLAY BEGUN
(Received July 0, 0.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 6 Match play in the New South Wales amateur golf championship was begun to-day. A. N. Waterson again played brilliant golf and beat A. Buckle, 13 and 12.
The title-holder. H. Hattersley, beat W. Longworth, 6 and 5, T. McKay beat H. Cutler, 8 and 7; R. Withyooinbo beat N. Bush, 7 and 6; G. Thompson beat H. Benjamin, 4 and 3.
