CATHOLIC WOMEN
The house committee of the Catholic Women's League held an enjoyable afternoon on Saturday, the conveners being Mesdames N. Main, C. Stitchbury Then. Meyer, C. McGill, M. Frost and Miss A. Bryant. A programme was contributed by Misses Doris Jenkins, G wend a Higgins, Mary and Peggie Cruiekshank and Joy Beatty, the aocompanistes being Misses I inline and M. Higgins. The rooms wore decorated with Iceland poppies, berries and autumn foliage. Competitions resulted in prizes being awarded to Mis. O'Ryan. Mrs. Handing Mrs. Mitchell and Misses Nolan and Stitchbury.
