BOY BORN ON TRAIN
CASE ON NORTHERN EXPRESS The birth of a baby boy occurred on the north-bound Whangarei express shortly before the train reached Helensville about 3.45 o'clock on Saturday afternoon. The mother, accompanied by her husband, was on her way to a niirsing homo when the birth occurred, and sho was attended by a nurse who was a passenger on the train and also by a St. John Ambulance officer. Railway officials advised Dr. H.. L. Gould, of Helensville. shortly after the train arrived at Helensville, and the mother and child were taken to a maternity home near the railway station. According to the latest advice both are well.
