ASSOCIATION GAME
CHATHAM CUP CONTEST THISTLE DEFEATS PONSONBY FIRST DIVISION MATCHES Improved form was shown by Thistle in the local final of the Chatham Cup competition at Blnndford Park on Saturday, when it secured a clear-cut victory over Ponsonby. In spite of heavy conditions tho play was fairly fast. Two first division championship games were also decided. In an interesting contest at Devonport, Comrades nnd North Shore drew, while Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys had a narrow victory over Metro-College in tingame at Western Springs. Following were the results of the matches:
