RELAY RACES IN LONDON (Received July 5, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 4 At White City to-day the New Zealandcr, J. E. Lovelock, assisted tho Achilles Club to rotain tho Victory Trophy in tho four miles relay race, which was run in 17m 31'.25. Lovelock exhibited a glimpse of his real form, running tho first mile in 4m 18s. Ho secured a lead of 80yds over tho Sotilligato Club, which his team-mates increased to 100 yds. Tho Achilles Club also won tho Qulntin Hogg challengo cup for the mile relay raco, for which tho time was 3in 10s. Tho Quint in Hogg and Victory trophies rank as tho British relay championships.
