KING AS PATRON
MISSIONS TO SEAMEN ORGANISATION'S GOOD WORK King Edward has honoured the Flying Angel Mission with hii> patronage. In the June issue oi: the Missions to Seamen publication, "The Church and the Sailor," is the following announcement by the Earl of Athlone: -"It is with very great pleasure that I have to announce that His Majesty the King has graciously consented to become patron of the Missions to Seamen, a position held by his father." In its response to the call arising from changed conditions, the announcement adds, the Missions.to Seamen had been true to the symbolism of its flag, the angel flying to meet the call for succour.
