TRAINED NURSES MEET
Several ladies from To Puke and Tauranga visited Whakatane for the purpose of forming a Bay of Plenty branch of the Trained Nurses' Association. The visitors were entertained at the residence of Mrs. F. Prideaux, of Douglas Street, where they wero welcomed by Mrs. Prideaux and Matron Giffney. The objects of the association were explained and it was decided to form a Bay of Plenty branch of the Trained Nurses' Association.
Miss Bartlett, of Tauranga, was elected president, Miss Giffney (Whakatane) vice-president, and Miss Chappel (To Puke) secretary. New members were enrolled and. afternoon tea was served by Mrs. Prideaux.
