FINE ARTS BLOCK
CONFERENCE ON MONDAY

The Director of Education, Mr. N. T. Lambourne, will leave Wellington for Auckland this week-end and will conferon Monday with the Mayor of Auckland. Mr. Ernest Davis, and the Auckland City Council in regard to the Grammar School sili! in Symonds Street, which it is proposed should be used for a fine arts block.
The Minister of Education, the Hon. P. Eraser, said this morning that nothing definite had been arranged in regard to the science block in Auckland, but it was hoped that some progress would be made in the future.
