MR. POLSON'S SERVICES SOUTH TARANAKI TRIBUTE [.BY telegraph—OWN correspondent] HAWERA, Thursday Hegret that JNIr. W. J. Poison, M.P.. was resigning the presidency of theNew Zealand Farmers' Union was expressed in a resolution passed by the South Taratiaki Farmers' Union this morning. The resolution was to the effect that the executive placed on record the valuable services rendered by Mr. Poison as Dominion president and suggested that failing his reconsidering his decision to resign his services be retained on the Dominion executive. Mr. J. S. Tosland said that Mr.. Polson devoted all his time to Farmers' Union matters. He was re-elected against his will last year and Mr. Tosland thought it most unfair that farmers "should throw rotten eggs at him" during the rear after his re-elec-tion. t
