ORPHANS' CLUB
The vice-president, Mr. V. N. Hubble, presided at the fortnightlv gathering of the Auckland Orphans' Club on Saturday night. Tho official guests were Sir Alexander Young, past president of tho Hamilton Orphans' Club, and the executive members of the famaki Orphans' Club, tho president of the latter, Mr. W. K. Francis, replying to the welcome to tho visitors Tho secretary, Mr. S. 0. Clark, stated that the combined rally of tho orphans' clubs of tho province was to be hold in the Auckland Town Hall on September 5.
