ASSESSMENT COURT SITS BUSINESS IN HAMILTON [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Sunday A sitting of the Assessment Court was held in Hamilton yesterday, Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt presiding. Associated with him as assessers were Messrs. J. C. Potts, H. F. Saunders, G. W. Vercoe and J. M. Thompson.
A reduction in the capital value of a Morrinsville property, from £2680 to £IOOO. was granted, it being shown that in the winter months a portion of the property was flooded. With one exception the Government valuations of all other properties, in connection with which objections were filed, were sustained. "
