JAPAN'S DEFENCE
HUGE EXPENDITURE INCREASE OF £11,500,000 TOKIO, June 1 The press announces Japan's defence appropriations for 1937 may exceed £82,000,000, an increase on last year's figure of £11,500,000. This allocation will be equally divided between the Army and the Navy.
