FRENCH STRIKES ENDING
MOTOR FACTORIES IN PARIS BETTER CONDITIONS GRANTED (Received June 1, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON, June 1 The Paris correspondent of tho Times says that the strikes in tho metallurgical factories in the Paris area are ending. The Citroen motor factories, which were occupied by the workmen, were evacuated last night in perfect order. The company agreed to raise wages 10 per cent, abolish overtime, and grant a week's annual holiday on full pay. Other companies aro prepared to grant much the same conditions, this meaning a complete victory for th«» men.
