SPILT INK CLUB

The monthly meeting of the Spilt Ink Club was held at the home of Mrs. C. H. Colegrove at Northcote. "Literature for Children" proved a popular topic for a general discussion. A talk on tho reaction of the child mind to literature was given by the Auckland representative, Miss E. M. Johnston. An original children's story, by Mrs. May Richmond, was read by Mr. F. Richmond. Poems by Gloria Rawlinson were recited by Mrs. Wynfreda Spiers, and readings were given by Mrs M Saunders, Mrs. A Crump. Mrs. E D. M Doust, Mrs. W. W. Wilson, Miss V. dt* Montalk, Miss M. Saunders and Mibs R. Bodle.
