Lady Goldfinch and Miss Helen Goldfinch, of Australia, who have been visiting Auckland, have left for Rotorua.
Mrs. Lees Brown left for Wellington on Sunday evening to stay with her daughter, Mrs. Allan Hill, of Oriental Parade, Wellington.
Mrs. T. H. Palmer and Miss Sadie Palmer, Vauxhall Road, Narrow Necl*. who have been staying at their seaside cottage, have returned.
Mrs. Tom Rowe, of Napier, and Mrs. Olive Sheppard, of Tairua, who were staying with Mrs. Sheppard, of Devonport, have returned home.
Mrs. R. B. Seabrook, of Hamilton, is spending a few days in Auckland and is staying with her mother, Mrs. M. G. Masefield, Alverstono Flats.
Miss Moya Williamson and Miss Gwen Dillon returned to Rotorua at the weekend after a vjsifc to Auckland. They will leave later in the month on a visit to Sydney.

An interesting address on "Our Work Among Our Maori Sisters" was given at the monthly meeting of the Papat-x»-toe branch of the Mothers' Union by Mrs. M. Babbington, organiser Of the Maori Mothers' Union. There was a good attendance, which appreciated insight given into the work, and thp speaker was warmly thanked for her address.
At the annual meeting of the Wellington branch of the National Council of Women held at -the end of last week, the following officers were elected: —President, Mrs B. L. Dallard; vice-presidents, Mrs. M. H. Cliatfield, Mrs. Peryman, Mrs E. J. Moore, M iss Mcßae, Miss England, Miss Bridgman, Miss Goudy; correspondence secretary, Miss B. Jackson; minute secretary, Miss B. Welch: treasurer, Mrs. Hf G. Chapman; life members, Lady Luke and Mrs. Henry Smith; representative on Women's Unemployment Committee, Miss C. E. Kirk.
