HOTELS IN HAURAKI
MEETING OF COMMITTEE Satisfactory reports 011 the conduct of the six hotels in the Hauraki Licensing Committee's district were submitted at the annual meeting of the committee at Otahuhn yesterday. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., presided. Applications for licences were granted Desmond Denehv in respect of the Hayview Hotel, New Brighton, and lidward Everard Roberts, of the Marine Hotel, Howick. Counsel for the last-named said that construction of a suitable fireescape was in hand and would he completed in accordance with the committee's wjshes. » Renewals of licences were granted to the licensees of the Star and Criterion Hotels, Otahuhn, the Rangiriri Hotel and the Railway Hotel, Mercor
