NORTH SHORE WATER
NO TROUBLE DURING YEAR "There has been very little to do in the past year," said Mr.. H. F. W. Meikle, on his re-election as chairman of the North Shore Water Board, at the annual meeting yesterday. "Lake Pupuke has given us no worries. I am firmly of the opinion that water wdl look after itself if not interfered with by sewage. The rainfall was phenomenal. and the lake lias retained its level."
It was decided to obtain an opinion from the board's solicitor as to the best means of dealing with persons trespassing on the board!s area with firearms.
