OLD MAN'S DEATH THE CORONER'S VERDICT An inquest into the death of John William Becston, aged 69, who was knocked down by a motor-car at the intersection of Manukau and Great South Roads at about 8.50 on the night of February 23, was concluded vesterdav before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., coroner. Mr Bryce Hart appeared for the driver of the car, John Reginald Smith.
