SUPPLY OF POWER
CAMBRIDGE BOARD'S YEAR RE-ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Saturday The annual meeting of the Cambridge Electric-Power Board was held yesterday. Mr. Mervyn Wells was reappointed chairman, a position he has held since the inception of the board 16 years ago. Mr. J. S. Fisher was re-elected deputychairman, £»nd other committees are as follows: Staff committee, Messrs. Wells, Moore and Brock; accounts committee, the full board; transport committee, Messrs. Wells, Moore, Eisher and Brock.
The balance-sheet for the year ended March 31, 1936, showed income amounting to £19,865 and expenditure £19,477. There was a profit of £360. The estimated receipts for the coming year are set down at £20,235, and expenditure at £20,011. The chairman stated that the elimination of meter rents would be completed at the next meeting.
