"ENCUMBRANCES"
Sir, —May I reply briefly to "Unencumbered." Children are never encumbrances if they are really wanted. Then obstacles are met bravely and overcome. Many of the ten thousand I mentioned have cars and 20 out a lot and have a good time. Would not a baby or two be a lot more interesting than a baby car? Selfishness is the trouble cf the young couples of the present day and not, with their parents, so why blame them? Dad.
