CHILD SEVERELY BURNED
CLOTHING CATCHES FIRE r [from our own correspondent] CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday Serious burns to her limbs and body were suffered by Rukena Luckman, aged six years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. It. Luckman, of Roto-o-rnngi, yesterday afternoon. Tho little girl's clothing caught .fire, and tho flames burned her body before being extinguished. The patient was attended by Dr. H. G. Tod, and was later conveyed to the Waikato Hospital in the St. John ambulance. Her condition to-day was reported to be quite satisfactory.* N
